Well, Stafford is a four hour drive from my house, but if it's the closest he'll be to Dallas, that's a go for me. That VIP stuff sounds excellent.

This makes me so unbelievably happy!

I will die happy if I hear I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead live.

I may have to take a week and follow this tour. It's been a good 17 years since the last time I did that.....

I see a Feb 27 date in Poughkeepsie listed as a Facebook event. Also says there's a Verified Fan presale on Oct 18 at 10AM. I assume this is direct link from weirdal.com? Hopefully a date closer to NYC right around that time?

Ooh opening night in Poughkeepsie! That’s a no brainer!

I’m liking what I see leaked so far! Looks like a few fun road trips in my future!

This sounds exciting.

I think he said on Facebook that there likely won't be any parodies. But if it's more for the hardcore fans with obscure songs, there are plenty of parodies I feel are obscure.

I know Al is against releasing compilations that have no reason to exist aside from making extra money, but I feel this would be a great time to put out a compilation of Al's obscure/underrated works.

I wonder if any of the shows will be recorded and broadcast/put online (by an official company)/released on DVD/Blu-Ray/4K Ultra HD/digital.

Considering the plan is for the shows to have a different setlist each night, it would be cool if there was a way for the fans to nominate songs they want to hear live (though who knows how many casual fans there'd be who'd nominate the kind of songs he's trying to avoid for this tour).

I will die happy when I finally get to see When I Was Your Age live......

Looks like the tour dates crashed weirdal.com .... can't get the site to load at all.

Looks like VIP is still through CID, then? Doesn’t look like they have the prices up for either VIP level yet though, which is unfortunate. I hope it’s not as extravagant as last tour since this tour is basically the opposite of that one. Love the inclusion of the framed set list!

Disappointed there's no Albany show but I'll probably head down to Poughkeepsie for the opener and go to the show at the Apollo.

Also I clicked on the “show info” for the Tuscon tour date and it took me to one for Palm Desert CA? Or something  someone didn’t double check the tour dates before they were put up
