I didn't see the Portsmouth show listed when I registered for the TM Verified Fan presale, so I registered for a different show, which is NOT as convenient for me.
I definitely will go to The Music Hall in Portsmouth!
Is it possible to change the show I'm registered for in the presale?

It'll be non-stop, sheer talent - what a deal! We walk onstage, and don't walk off until we're done. I don't think that's happened since 1982!

Pre-Sale Code?

Post by mikesworkbench »

So how do I get to buy pre-sale tickets? If I've registered at WeirdAl.com will I get emailed a pre-sale code or are there any other tricks? I've been a dyed to the wool Weird Al fan for over 35 years and I don't want to miss this.

Thanks

My understanding is that you had to be on the weirdal.com mailing list before today in order to get in on the presale. Invitations for presale registration were already sent early this afternoon.

Really excited for this!! I have a question about Al's phrasing that everyone will be sitting on stools. Does this mean the entire show is going to be similar to the unplugged section of the Mandatory Tour? Does this mean new acoustic arrangements of old songs? Or at some point will you guys stand up and play a regular old fashioned rock show?

Bermuda made this comment on someone's Facebook post yesterday:
It's hardly unplugged, it's the full band and it's gonna rock!

I got the presale email too which is cool, but I don't recall Al having a particularly large resale market for tickets to any of his shows last time around? If I recall for most dates, when one sold out they just added a second show in the afternoon.
