i love this song!

i'm amazed that al could hold that note for so long (and yes he actually held the note, no fancy recording studio tricks involved!)

i think this song is one of the best songs that showcases al's singing abilities.
everbody's sayin' that he sure sounds funny but it's still billy joel to me!

I like Spy Hard. The movie is actually funny. They don't compare to Airplane or the Naked Gun flicks, but I'd dare say that compared to some of Leslie's other movies, they don't hold up.

I mean, it's certainly better than say, Mr. Magoo, or Scary Movie 3, or 2001: A Space Travesty.

Plus, it's got Al's opening sequence, which automatically raises the bar.

Totally! I agree! I love that movie!
Anything with Al in it is automatically better!

I watched that video about 5 minutes ago, and was able to hold the note! Go, me!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

The question now is:

Was the note in tune?

Why, yes, yes it was. Even if it wasn't, how would you know?

This song holds a special place in my heart, because I own two cd singles of it, thanks to Al, who hand-picked them for the third place winner of The Gong Show, which was ME!

I used to have the "Gump/Spy Hard" cassette single. Disappeared long time ago.

Most of my albums of Al's are cassette, actually. Maybe only like, 5 of his I have on cd.

Has anyone bought this movie just for the opening title sequence?
