I honestly don't think Spy Hard's that awful. The movie definitely has some laughs in it.

It's not Leslie Nielsen's best, but not his worst either. Plus any movie that offers Mr. T, Alex Trebek and Weird Al in the first 15 minutes gets at least a B+ in my book.

Has anyone bought this movie just for the opening title sequence?

Was there any other reason?

Pity he didn't get a cameo as well.

Daughter requested it for her 8th birthday - kids are very well Alwashed!

I read this on the Complete U.S. Discography:

FILM MUSIC                                      1998    CD (Ayarou)
(by Stephen Jay; sampler with exclusive Spy hard instrumental mix)
Does that mean that it's a different version than the instrumental mixes on the Gump CD-single?

I love this song! I watched the film without knowing Al was in it, which was a fab surprise.

Whenever the song comes on my computer, my little brother rushes into te room and we'll sing it together. Cause his voice hasn't broke yet, we can both hit and hold the note.

The only difference is, unlike my brother, my face isn't purple by the end.

Yes! Me! I only own the movie because of the opening sequence! I will put on the movie only for that part! I will fast forward through the begining and when the woman falls in the ocean I will stop and play. As much as I love "Spy Hard" the movie and all the Naked Gun's I only really like the Weird Al Cameo's! The movies are funny don't get me wrong but after seeing them multiple times, the jokes can get old. But not Al. Here's a great, great quote...

Al: "white hair"
Vanna: "about 6'2"
Al: "kind of looks like Phil Donahue"

Both: "Thats the Guy!!"

Love it!!

"These people are not here for you Frank."
Frank: "What do you mean?"
"Weird Al Yankovic is on the plane!"

I didn't think spy hard was that good, I liked the naked gun movies and Safety Patrol better, I bought the DVD new but I opened it just to watch the theme song performed by Al, even tho I had my ultimate video collection DVD at the time, I was so STUPID, but that was in like 2006, Im smarter now, I recently bought a Spy Hard Demo VHS, on ebay for like $5, I don't even know if Al is in that tho, but o well,
Rice in my Laundry, Lice in my Milk.
