My New Teacher and Me!

Post by NH Weird Al Fan »

As Al recently announced on Twitter, his 2nd children's book will be released in 8 months, which will be in June 2013. He is supposed to reveal the title and cover art on Monday, Oct. 29, but I found them online today. I'll hide the details in spoilers, for those who would rather wait; hopefully the title of this topic can be changed once the book title is officially announced on Monday.

Spoiler:
I tried to put links under the spoilers, but they weren't hidden so I had to remove them. I found the information about Al's new book on HarperCollins.com - just search the site for Yankovic and you'll find it. The scheduled release date for the book is June 25, 2013, but it is showing up as available for pre-order on Amazon today. I just ordered mine!

I pre-ordered it as well! It looks like it's gonna be a pretty cool new subject. My little sister definitely liked the first one, but her interest in books has grown a lot more since last year; I'm sure it'll be a classic in our house.

Interesting concept. Excited to see all that Al does with it.

I didn't read his other book, but knowing him, I'm sure this new one is gonna be awesome. I gotta pick up a copy of the first book...

I am so ridiculously excited about this. We have his first book and my kids who are 3 and 5 love it.

And the timing for the release of the second book is perfect,
Spoiler:
because its coming out just a month or two before my son starts school for the first time and the book is called "My New Teacher and Me!"

Weird all should write a parody book of twilight and 50 shades of gray.

There is only one "L" in "Weird Al" Yankovic's name, unless you're calling him by his full name, Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic.
