I do like the concept of a tie-in with something bigger than ourselves and trying to help create even more buzz for Al, but I have no idea how the tie-in/sponsorship would actually work or where a person would begin to inquire. I suck at such practical business-like matters. But it's an interesting concept. I'm assuming the Super Bowl petition person isn't on the forum (although maybe they lurk?), but am impressed at how much buzz that was able to generate!

Well that was from several sources. The New York times had the initial comment, someone made a petition based on that. Anybody doing a search on that initial article also came up with the petition link.

We Should Hold it in either:pigletk wrote:I was just testing the waters to see if anyone would even be interested in going and/or be willing to help.....
Tulsa, Oklahoma [we all know what was filmed there ]
or maybe somewhere on the east coast, like boston.
my parents would never let me go to vegas, let alone for an Al convention. Poo. -__-
East coast is good for me, but its whats best for the fans.

I'd love it if there were an Al convention in Boston someday, because then I'd actually be able to go to it! However, I realize Boston is probably not the most convenient place for most people on this forum. Also, someone from the Boston area would have to organize it.HerpDerp027 wrote: We Should Hold it in either:
