My experience taping hour long shows on commercial TV usually yields 38 minutes/hour. I won't be taping this, I'll be buying the full uninterrupted version. I'll watch the broadcast once, but I'll be disappointed at the expected hack job.

The legally mandated length of a 60 minute broadcast is 42 minutes; depending on the channel's status (cable, network, or premium) and how much clout the production company or studio has with the network, it can occasionally be 46 minutes. It is never less than 42 minutes though.
