1) Does your significant other like Weird Al?
Very much. Billy as as big an Al fan as I am.
2) How important is your S.O.'s opinion of Weird Al (or any other music/comedy taste, for that matter) to your relationship?
He doesn't have to like every band I listen to, and he doesn't. I don't like every band he listens to either. But we have to at least tolerate each others' differences in taste.
3) If they don't like Weird Al, what have you done about it?
doesn't apply
4) Any other stories about current/past significant others and your relationship with them as it pertains to liking/disliking Weird Al.
One of my favorite memories, right up there with my wedding day, was when we went to Boca Raton to see Al in concert. We had an absolute blast and even got to get his autograph. It was awesome! We love to talk about that concert.

When something new is happening in the Al universe, my attention definitely shifts that direction for info and excitement, but in his musically inactive times, I might check the homepage once a week instead of several times daily.

- I do think it's nice though to think about having an S.O. who enjoys Al's work. (My daughter did just see today that he will be having a song called "Party in the CIA" which made her laugh and she sang "Party in the CIA" to the tune of "Party in the USA"... then said, "I don't know what the CIA is..." She also laughed at the title "Another Tattoo" so I think she'll enjoy this album of his.) I just need to get my wife into the hype.

Re: Significant Other is Not an Al Fan
Is it even really a spoiler when the song titles are, you know, on weirdal.com?
(still thinks the spoiler forum is kind of silly)

Significant Other is Not an Al Fan
I'd say yes and no. They aren't on the front page, they are kind of hidden
Talking about music is like fishing about architecture- FZ

Yeah, they really aren't spoilers any more. (Why we're even keeping the speculation based off of the titles solely to the spoiler forum is part of what surprises me).

Re: Significant Other is Not an Al Fan
If it's about what tune my daughter was singing the song to, it's because that's what the title reminded her of. Sorry about crossing boundaries there. I'll pay more attention as to when I say what I say and where I say it (I have this problem in non-forum life as well and get in trouble for it quite often... especially if I'm excited about what I'm saying.)...Big Spoon wrote:Please keep all spoilers in the spoiler forum.
