Wow.... So you are getting a huge tat of Al with the accordian and everything.... Hopefully you send a pic or actually show Al once you get it done cuz he always has something to say about people getting tattoos of him...

I can't wait to show him once it's done! I will be tour chasing next summer, so it should happen at one of those shows. I'll post pics of it in October when I get it though. I already put down a non refundable $100 deposit, so its pretty guaranteed.

It will hurt...my wallet. It will probably cost somewhere around $600-$800 since it's full color, big, and will have a ton of detail. However the artist is very talented (hence the 4 month waiting list) and I'm sure it will come out awesome. I've had a tattoo before and the even the most painful (inside of my wrist on the tendon) didn't hurt unbearably. I just bring a friend to distract me with talking and the like.

There IS a fan with a cartoonish Al/accordion combo--I think its either Christine (who is currently somewhere in RI, I think) or Fred. Fairly certain its Christine, but I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am wrong!

We should have an AL Tattoo Gallery topic (photo's only) I know there's a tattoo topic somewhere but it's HUGE, filled with dead links to pics no longer there and lots of conversation. It'd be nice to see what other people have and haven't done.

Those are some pictures from Al's concert in Houston my sister took. The last one is probably the best of them, because the others are either just one side of him or blocked by a mic stand.
