It's a little obscure, but Al made fun of Prince a couple of times (way more than a couple, I know, but this was one specific joke I'm talking about) where he said he's changing his name to a symbol. He showed the symbol on Al TV once, and also on the Jon Stewart Show in 1993. This is the video of the Jon Stewart show interview:
