ALCON was great. I saw Amanda C at Summerfest for the first time since that last ALCON. She's lookin' good.

Good to know Amanda's doing well. Seriiously, AlCon was the best thing about 2002. It really helped me out a great deal to be there amongst lots of folks of a like mind. I get warm fuzzies looking at any photos/footage from AlCon. Here's a sort of Al and me photo from Alcon III. Me onstage doing stand-up, and clearly the back of Al's head as he was watching:

The only picture of Al and I was one my dad took while Al was signing all my junk. (including my senior yearbook!)
It certainly wasn't the best picture, but meeting him was amazing beyond the comprehension of any picture.
