Weird Al just lost at Hennessey. All I know right now is he lost badly, according to someone on twitter. No Gold Cup this year.

Weird Al had a partially paralyzed larynx! Wow, I'm sorry for the horse and I hope he's better, but I'm really glad it isn't Weird Al the human! :(

That's a very common issue in Thoroughbreds. There's a surgical repair for it, though that may mean he needs time off for recovery. It wouldn't make a ton of sense to race without surgery though.

Actually, the article says they did do the surgery. I think he's in the recovery period now.
