So, yeah, that race horse's name is Weird Al. And apparently they're looking for a new jockey. Really tiny people should apply.

Sounds like a pretty good bet. The article says he has "100% record", though that doesn't consider the race last Saturday, assuming they found a jockey, and he actually ran. This article, though not dated, gives a little more background on the horse, confirming the horse has at least 5 wins, and is 7 years old.

I read a lot of horse books when I was eight and being a jockey sounds like one crazy thing to be.

I name a lot of stuff Weird Al, the monster in my closet, the dust bunny under my bed, the spider on the ceiling, the fly trying to bang his way out my window but I don't go posting them all over the place. It's more of a private thing I share with my imaginary friend, Weird Al.
