has anyone been to the Walk before and is there still plenty of sidewalk for future year stars??
There's plenty of sidewalk space available, don't you worry!
I don't know how it's decided where the star finally lives once accepted. A "location" is not one of the items that's included with the application.

Just joined and reading back through the past posts (quite a lot of them!). Looks like the most recent status is that the candidates for 2004 stars have already been picked, and Al's not one of them? I'm assuming this is a yearly thing? Does anyone know where new stars are being placed, I mean, if we did eventually get Al a star, would it end up in some back alley or something?

The committee meets once per year in June to select the recipients for the new stars.
Weird Al needs a star! The $15k won't be a problem.

there are 722 members on this site....
active? i dont know how many, but if everyone donates at least 20 bucks, thats it (because i know many here dont have jobs, such as me, so over 20 dollar donations could cancel out the donations)... its a start, but start the insults.
