Wow, that was just made of awesome. Props to that guy!

Anyone notice how it said that Dave Grohl said Nirvana "made it" and not Kurt? And is Albuquerque really considered blues?

Geez, let's not get sidetracked about something so meaningless like "facts" and "details" :P

The nominations were announced....and, well, of course no Al.

But hey, Kiss grabbed a nomination. So that's proof that the Hall pays attention to fan campaigns....10 years later.

So: Al for 2019!

The only truly worthwhile choices this year are Genesis and RHCP. The others are all evidence of how poor the nominees have been lately.

By the way here's the full list:

The ballot for next yearÂ’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class is one of the most diverse ever: the Red Hot Chili Peppers, LL Cool J, Kiss and Genesis are up for nomination alongside the Stooges, Donna Summer, ABBA, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, the Chantels, the Hollies and Jimmy Cliff. Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after their debut release, so all the candidates released their first single no later than 1984. LL Cool J and the Red Hot Chili Peppers both made the ballot on their first year of eligibility.
