"Entertainment Weekly's" web site is doing a sort of visual history/timeline of spoof movies, and a certain on-topic film was spotlighted and got a positive mention.

The comedian did not know Al was there. He just happened to make a joke that mentioned him. Then, of course, he found out Al was there because of the reaction from the audience, and, of course, once the house lights went up, and Al stood up and waved.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

That's amusing. I'm sure Al was amused.

Well, since the guy was dissing "fifth rate Weird Al impersonators" and not actually Weird Al himself, he probably didn't mind.

Yeah, if Al could find the humor in "Daffy Mal Yinkleyankle" this guy woulda been no problem at all.

Here's a post from a guy who met Al for the first time at a recent Barenaked Ladies concert (where Al participated), including a couple nice photos--cool accordion!

I also notice that Al has a pair of glasses there...Possibly the same thing going on with me is happening to him--LASIK doesn't prevent the corneas from hardening as you get older, so you eventually need glasses again. Sigh.
