-we both like the color black
-we both play accordion
-we both are classy
-we both have the same kind of sense of humor
-we are weird
-we both like ren and stimpy
- we have the same hair color

that's all I can think of right now.

hehe, even Derek has a few things in common with Al:

He and Al both share the same middle name, Matthew.

He and Al both have brown eyes.

Hehe, sometimes, Derek has a goatee, and sometimes, he doesn't.

They're both handsome.

I don't have that much in common with Al, aside from being a long-haired white and nerdy vegetarian. However, my son has the same birthday (different year, of course!)
