I'm no straight A student or architecture student but today I am graduating college!!



I just went for a certificate for Medical Assisting which was only a year program and I still have one last semester to finish but since there is only one ceremony a year they allow people to participate if they have enough hours and close to finishing. But still excited, and excited to start my final semester on Tuesday which will be my co-op/seminar class and will really completely be done in august.

I got a real-life virus alert (well, it was actually a security threat warning) when I tried to look at the tour dates on The Mothership this morning.

Al retweeted a link to this article from The Atlantic titled "Applause": Is Lady Gaga Parodying Weird Al Parodying Her?

Basically, the author compares the video for her single "Applause" to Al's video for "Perform This Way" and points out how Gaga is poking fun at her own image in a way so bizarre that it almost paralells how Al poked fun at her image.

Side note: The author initially wrote that Gaga herself denied Al permission to release PTW. I left a comment saying that it was her manager who denied Al and not Gaga herself and the author said he would update his post. He even did so with a link to Al's blog.
