The Compleat Al is the "almost true" story of Al's life, much like The Authorised Al is.
By "almost true" they mean that one or two *little* things may not be exactly, oh how shall we say...accurate.
There are some nice additions though. It features a bunch of Al's older videos, and some footage that Al taped in Japan specificaly for the video.
It also features several clips from VINTAGE ALTV shows which many fans have been clamoring for.
Is it exactly the same? They're close, but the jokes are different and it seems, to me, to be a little more in depth then the book.
