Like bitch is a swear unless it refers to a female dog, and ass is a swear unless it refers to a donkey.

Bastard is a swear, though.

When are these words actually used to describe these things? :rolleyes: More often than not, "bitch" usually just means "female person who did something I kinda didn't like." And ass is ass. I'd definitely count Jerry Springer since my parents would always skip it in the car when I was young, even if there's no particular "swearing."

Except both ways had double meanings when he used them. They were both the dictionary meanings and the swears, because comedy.
