What if Al was a girl?

Come on, I'm sure you've all wondered it before. :sly:

Like, "Allison Yankovic," or some other groovy names. What would she look like? Would her career path be different from Alfred's? Would you still be a fan?

Let your imaginations run wild!!

It's definitely interesting to think about because there are a lot of variables. Are they the same songs as Alfred has now, or more female centric songs through the ages? Is the band the same people, or all women? (Or, even further, are the band members now women, or new people?)

I would be interested in hearing a good number of Alfred's song sung by a girl. I don't think some would sound as good, like Headline News. On the flip side, I think CNR would sound AMAZING with a strong female vocal!

I'd probably still be a fan. I think the image of some tiny lady is tacky 70s clothes jumping around playing the accordion is a fun sight in my head.

Close But No Cigar, Whatever You Like, and Al's other anti-love songs would be interesting from a female's perspective.

I never liked Close, But no Cigar, but if the song would be a girl bashing men for not being sexy enough it would be quite funny!

Yeah, he was so pretty he made Robert Downy Jr
Look like a big fat slobbering pig
The only caveat is one of his biceps
Was just a little tiny bit too big

I think a Tumblr leak would be more about how offensive Weird Al is.

Eh, Tumblr also deals a lot with gender swap stuff. And least the bits of it that I've seen.

Hm, I guess you're right. :? I usually only see it for characters and not celebrities. There is a difference between a Female!Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbatch as a girl.

"Melanie" would be titled "Anthony" and at least one person on this forum would make a "gave a mohawk to your cat" joke at my expense on a daily basis.

I've seen it for both.

Anyways, I can see Biggest Ball Of Twin In Minnesota having a line about how freaked how the mom was when her husband picks up a random hitchhiker on a family road trip.

Last night I was thinking about this before bed.

If Al was a girl, she wouldn't age as gracefully as he did. I can see her being energetic and spunky in her early days, but now a days I don't think she'd be able to move as much as he does, even if she was also a vegan. Maybe my knowledge on women is more limited than I thought, but most 55 year olds I know aren't that spry.
