Even the novices among us know "Weird Al" Yankovic is spelled just like that, with "Weird Al" in quotation marks. But somebody please tell me where the heck do you put the apostrophe-s for a possessive?
I write for my college newspaper and I'm absolutely going to be writing an Album 14 review for its website this summer. But I don't want to always refer to him as Yankovic this, Yankovic that. So if I need to say "Weird Al's," is it "Weird Al's" or "Weird Al"'s? The first way, right?

Pretty sure you only add the quotation marks when it comes before Yankovic.

The manual of style regarding Al's name is...
When the full or last name is used, the possessive is added to Yankovic: "Weird Al" Yankovic's drummer is great!
When the informal is used, there are no quotes, so there's no issue about how the apostrophe is used: Weird Al is coming out with a new album or Weird Al's drummer is great!
Similarly, the rules with my name are...
Full name: Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz's dog is named Pepper.
Informal: Bermuda has a dog or Bermuda's dog is named Pepper.

When the informal is used, there are no quotes, so there's no issue about how the apostrophe is used: Weird Al is coming out with a new album or Weird Al's drummer is great!
