real talk, Al's frequent complaining/joking about Prince, no matter how funny I think it might be, does come across as a bit bitter and makes Al, and this is probably too harsh a way to say this, kinda look like a loser

Even his "complaining/joking about Prince" seems pretty tame when you look back. I mean, really, it was mostly just jokes about his height and the wimpiness of his mustache on AL-TV. Plus, he hasn't really made those "jokes" since around 2003 and now only does bring up Prince when prompted in interviews.

I'm sure the "bitterness" has faded over time (or is starting to fade) at least a little if he's been talking about Prince less and less lately.
