He who's tired of Weird Al is tired of life.

Original Artists' Response

Post by minnick27 »

It's the only way he gets a mention. 15 years later and it's still news worthy

I think it's also safe to say that after 15 years, Weird Al is more newsworthy than Coolio.

Right. I sort of wonder if maybe Coolio sees the firestorm he created about denying Weird Al permission as the beginning of the end of his popularity, and that's why he always seems to go back to that. Especially in this most recent quote, you get the sense it has truly bugged him all this time.

End of Coolio's popularity? Surely you jest! He recently was runner-up on Food Network's Celebrity Cook-Off! The guy's just as big as he was in his heyday!

The man was also in Batman & Robin, a cinematic classic!

That makes a lot of sense.

Interview with the Presidents.
Sometimes we’ll do Gump instead of Lump. Yeah, believe me, the kids go pretty bonkers when that happens.

Nice article. I love that they're giving away tickets to a PUSA show in the U.K. for anyone who can name the song Al parodied by them. ;)
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
