Al hasn't performed in Rhode Island since Touring With Scissors. This is my home state and will be the shortest trip I ever take to see Al live.
I would be happy to organize a meet up. there's a delicious burger place in Providence called Luxe Burger if you good folks would like to grab a bite before the show.

My sister's family lives in Rhode Island and we've gone to Luxe a couple times when I've visited them. I'll second that recommendation, good burgers.
If this wasn't in the middle of the week, I'd probably go to this show since I could stay at my sister's place and not worry about a hotel. But on a Wednesday, I probably won't make it.

I think I am going to go to this show, and my parents are kind of pushing me towards this one instead, too. It's closer, not that far, and not before/during Labor Day Weekend (sorry, New Hampshire!). We'll just have to wait and see, though!

Why would your parents care what concert you go to?

The plan is to go with some friends who live in Rhode Island. I don't even know if they know they're going yet! Hope they can make it!
