World of Weird Al Yankovic

I'm guessing the set will be substantially different from the regular set of the tour, given the orchestra and location. Also, most shows at the Bowl have an intermission, right? Wonder where Al will put his.

If he doesn't perform something like DDTS or SFTCTM, I will be very upset. What other occasion does he have a FULL ORCHESTRA?!?! But in all seriousness, I have a feeling the setlist will be no different from any other date.

I plan on going to these shows. Now I need to make the money to make it happen. How expensive are Hollywood Bowl shows?? The tickets for this don't go on sale until May 1st, but am I missing prices somewhere?

Al tempted people on Facebook to go to this show by saying "Come on, haven't you always wanted to hear 'Smells Like Nirvana' with strings?"

I feel like he might tweak the set list here and there. These would be the shows to do it!!

My best bet is the "additional artist" may be one of Al's BFFs.

I think it's pretty common to pair two artists with the orchestra at these shows. I saw Ben Folds and Elvis Costello with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra two years ago. It was a great show, but the one downside was that they played only two hours combined (a little under an hour for Ben, a little over an hour for Elvis).

Of course, Ben Folds wouldn't be a bad choice to pair with Al.

Man, this thread has all the fans in uproar, doesn't it?

And here I am, an 11 year old living far away from LA dreaming of being at the wonderful concert that night, tears down my eyes.
Something else I feel I miss out on...


The closest thing I get to a concert is listening to Al's music and daydreaming of him singing the songs I'm listening to...

Watch a combo of both live DVD's on really high volume in the dark, it can definitely get better than just listening to his music.
