I don't know if Al's going to make substantial set changes, but there's bound to be one or two.

Judging by the fact that Al directly referenced Smells Like Nirvana, chances are, the regular set list will pretty much be performed in full. On a similar note, Albuquerque with an orchestra backing would be the best thing ever.

Al said it would be okay to tell the forum that this summer's tour is most likely going to have the same setlist as last year ("so don't get too excited"), unless there's a new single out. (And judging by our shooting schedule, he doesn't exactly have a lot of time off to write one.)

And this is just conjecture, but I think the Hollywood Bowl shows are likely to be a bit truncated from the normal setlist, given the unusual circumstances.

Hey,
does anybody of you know more about these Hollywood Bowl concerts in general?

I saw that there are two ways of purchasing tickets before offical sale starts:

- buying some sort of "Season ticket" for some 300 dollars - which is quite crappy for me thinking about coming just to that show from Germany
- something similar like "Buy 6 tickets" stuff... Which could potentially at least allow me just to waste two thirds of the purchase (seems to be available later...)

However, the seats available look quite odd... All the other sections / tickets will go on sale in May? Worst case for me would be to pay really quite a bunch for the flight and then resulting in no / crappy tickets...

Ser Florian, if I were you I would wait until May. The tickets will be further, as season ticketholders get all the best seat options, but this venue is great and there really is not a bad seat in the house. I saw Radiohead at the Bowl in 2008 from the second to last row and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. And Weird Al is not going to sell as quickly as Radiohead. I would recommend waiting until May, nervewracking as it may be. You should be able to obtain better seats through second-hand markets like StubHub if you're not happy with what's available in May.

I haven't had the to travel to Al shows for a few years now...but now that I do, this seems like the perfect way to get back into the game! See ya there!! Airbnb and Uber, I'm counting on you!!

Anyone know if this one goes on sale tomorrow/Friday as well as the rest? And are the prices the same as other shows?
Just thinking it could be more expensive since it's the Bowl.

Unless you're a Bowl Subscriber, they go on sale May 1st. Not sure about pricing.
