On the other hand, that still could open up to some very minor differences that he might pull to keep it from being the exact same performance. Little things like Al "forgetting the next verse" in Smells Like Nirvana happen after breaks in touring, I've noticed. The way certain songs are performed do not stay 100% the same to the way they were first played. Even WBUL has a different ending compared to the old performances.
Also, I heard there was a time Al and the band used to mess with the audience by playing snippets of completely unrelated songs under the guise of requests? That would be kinda cool, even just as a gag.

During the Poodle Hat tour, right before OMM, Al would either ask the audience for a request before exclaiming "Okay, we'll play that one" (launching into OMM) or he would ask Jim for a suggestion, leading into Sweet Home Alabama, Whole Lotta Love, etc. which would lead into OMM.
