Okay, I was able to procure five more tickets in Section A Right in Row H.
See you all at the show! :accordion:

Man, I can't wait for this concert. Just set up a countdown calendar widget on my laptop counting down the days until the show!

When entering the date in my phone I saw that it falls on International Talk Iike a Pirate Day. I am researching the eat+get driven to the concert options right now.

Cheers, Diva

Hi Everyone!! I'm a long time Al fan, but new to these forums so sorry if this is a dumb question that has already been answered somewhere else. This will be my first Weird Al concert and I'm So PUMPED!! :tacky: Has anyone here been to see him at the Greek Theater before? If so, what is the parking situation? I know it is in the middle of Griffith Park...can you park on the street there? I feel like you can't, but I'm not sure. Or, are there designated parking lots? Or would it be smarter to just get a ride there or Uber there?

Sorry I guess that was waaaay more than just one question. But if anyone knows the answers to those I'd be super appreciative! Thanks and I can't wait to see you all there!!

I haven't seen Al at the Greek, but I saw a show there once before. There is on-site parking, and it's expensive as those things tend to be. I forget if it was $10 or $20. Either way, they park you in a designated lot very close to the theater, all inside Griffith Park. If you are able to park for free somewhere in Los Feliz it wouldn't be the worst idea to take a Lyft or Uber the rest of the way.

We'll all have to meet up before and/or after this show. I'm sitting in row AA in the right Pit, front row. :D
A bit bummed I couldn't get Czar tickets though, I really wanted a chance to meet Al...

Fantastic show last night! Had great seats, last row of the pit. My friend Max and I got the the theater pretty early, and hung out at the preshow VIP party. Saw a bunch of familiar faces, and also got to meet a few new ones, as well. Peggy was nice enough to give me her backstage pass, which was amazing. Still very grateful/thankful towards her for that. After hanging out/talking for a little while, Max and I stopped by the merch stand. I picked up a Che Yankovic shirt, a keychain, and an Amish Paradise shirt. Afterwards we went to our seats, and got there just in time for the show to begin.

The Tacky entrance was great, and Al came down the aisle right by where we were sitting! In Lame Claim To Fame, I was the "guy who knows a guy who knows Kevin Bacon!" My favorite part of the show was probably the "unplugged medley." Although I'm a little surprised Al didn't set it up with the the video clip. During Wanna B Ur Lovr, Al licked Suzanne's face. I always wonder what the fans who don't know her think about that happening. The Yoda Chant is fantastic and I love how it's always expanding. Max, being a huge fan of DisneyLand, went nuts over the addition of the Haunted Mansion portion. He hadn't been to an Al show since the SOL tour, so it was a great surprise for him.

After the show, I met up with a few more forum members, and then waited for Al with the VIP crowd. Waited in line, talked with a few members of the 501st Legion, (as well as a few people in line near me), said hi to Al, got my picture taken, and headed back home.

Amazing night!

My green Che shirt already has to be sewed in the armpit, ripping on both sides. Haven't been wearing it to excessively so that is a pain, maybe I should have put this in first world problems.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Just to add, I find the shirts to be of low cotton quality? Like, they're thin and have that rough cottony feel to them... Maybe it's just me, or on certain designs.

That is awesome that Suzanne was there. I wonder how often she attends concerts?
