I got regular tickets during presale...If by normal you mean guaranteed rows 6-10, then yes.

You can get "regular" tickets from the weirdal.com presale, but they are not guaranteed to be in rows 6-10.
Muppetboy09, perhaps you lucked out and bought early enough that you were able to get seats in rows 6-10.

In previous years, when PAID was handling the weirdal.com presales, there was a "premium ticket" option (not VIP) that guaranteed a seat in rows 6-10. I wish we still had that option.

Is there a standard number of tickets you're allowed to buy through Al's pre-sale? I called the Greek Theater and they said their max per person was 8. Just wondering if there's been a common maximum for this tour?

I might be wrong, but I think the limit on Al's presale is 12

It depends on the show. Most of the presales I've seen have been around 4 per show. Also, there's a 10 ticket limit total across all shows per email address. So, if plan to go to multiple shows, have a few throw away email addresses handy.
