Just back from the show! Easily tops the London gig I was at a few years back, mainly because of a more rampant crowd.
And what a crowd! I was a little nervous that there would be an average turnout, but the place was packed and capacity is around 1,800 I think.
I tried to stay as spoiler free as I could about the new tour. I laughed that he sang 'aluminium' instead of aluminum in Foil - a nice touch!
As a massive fan of The Mighty Boosh, I love that he incorporated one of their crimps into the Yoda Chant. He is the pioneer there, after all!
Really looking forward to seeing him again at my hometown show in Glasgow in a few weeks!

Cute! I just went searching for it on YouTube. Didn't find it (yet), but enjoy hearing about the little things he does differently at different shows (I assume from your post that he pronounced it that way on purpose). Did he do it just once, or several times during the song?giant_frying_pan wrote:I laughed that he sang 'aluminium' instead of aluminum in Foil - a nice touch!

Oh it was definitely deliberate! It appears a few times of course in the song and he sang it the same faster way to cram in the extra syllable both times! I was caught out the first time singing along and saying it the 'wrong' way!
Oh and of course, there was extra emphasis on the 'from some guy I've never met in Norway' during eBay...!
Also probably a wise move to leave out 'spastic' in Word Crimes as that's a bit offensive here. No idea if he was leaving that out in the States or not!

No, but I'm surprised he left it out for Norway because it is in the song. Not like he would not do Canadian Idiot in Canada, and I doubt anybody paying to see him would care that much considering he is a comedy artist and their just gags. Even the fatties love singing Fat, I see it all the tiiime.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

He did not leave out spastic in the States(it is not that type of an offensive term here). I am not surprised he is leaving it out for international purposes.

What is spastic replaced with? Or is it left quiet??
I still think people overreacted with that. People are just being babies in my generation its embarrassing.

Re: 9/25/15 Oslo, Norway SENTRUM SCENE
He takes out the whole verse containing spastic and just skips to "Go back to pre-school..." There's a video on YouTube if you want to see it, but I won't link it because it's a bootleg.
