7/11/15 Albany, NY Palace Theatre

This gives the radio guy a close concert in Albany! Hopefully they'll be able to do some more content with Al and the band for promotion!

Glad to see the band coming back to the Palace as, at about an hour away, it's the closest venue to me that Al plays. As such, this is the only show I know definitively, as of now, I'll be attending. And a bonus that it's on a Saturday, meaning I won't have to leave work early to get there in time or wake up early for work the next morning.

I too am glad it's on Saturday for all the same reasons... but why does CrowdSurge say the show is at 7pm, but TicketMaster says 8pm? Palace Theatre's site says 8pm, but it just makes me curious...

I was about to post something about the time discrepancies when I saw your post. My order confirmation says 7. I tweeted the Palace, I'll post if I get an answer from them. Thankfully we have almost six months to figure it out. I would tend to think the venue's site is probably accurate so I'll assume 8 and confirm with the Palace as it gets closer.

I'm in orchestra center row FF

I was thinking the same that the venue ought to know what time their own show starts.

I splurged... I'm in row AAA :)

Same thing going on for the Las Vegas shows. My best guess - the venue's 7pm start time indicates when doors open. From a venue's perspective, they'd rather have everyone get there too early than too late.

Seems like a fair enough reason, TMBJon. Thank you!

Yes, I saw.. somewhere... that the Palace's doors open an hour before the show... therefore, 7pm doors open, 8pm show begins.

Hopefully, I won't be too wiped out getting in late tomorrow, so I can report back about everything/anything. ;)

VIP party was fun! Costume contest was won by The Penguin. There was a slow dance to Good Enough For Now. The polka dance contest was hilarious. And of course, the Wheel of Fish!

The concert was so awesome. Love the little acoustic set. I got quite sprinkled on during Smells Like Nirvana. I don't know where the Solo cup went other than behind me. Managed to grab a couple streamers from Canadian Idiot.

Overall, a fabulous experience & very well worth the money spent. Thumbs up!
