I did a quick Google Images search for the Midland, and it looks like there are stairs on both sides of the stage. Getting on and off of the stage shouldn't be a problem for him. Maybe the "adjustments" were more on the technical side of things?

Thanks! I'm really excited. Seeing Al on my birthday is going to be one of the best presents I've ever received. I'll be on my way to Newark in about an hour!Muldernscully wrote:Happy Birthday, Kevbo! Enjoy the show tonight!
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

It was a great night! We're staying in a hotel, and before the show, we decided to go to dinner. As we walked into the stairwell, we ran right into Al. I briefly said hello and went on my way. I didn't want to bother him, as it looked like he was on his way to his room to shower.
The show itself was wonderful as always. It definitely seems like it's getting better as the tour goes along. "Foil" sounded especially great tonight. Also, these were probably the best SLN cheerleaders I've seen. They were really into it and had the routine down to a tee. After the show, we stood out by the buses. After about 45 minutes, Al came out. I had him sign my "The White Stuff" single, and he recognized us from our earlier encounter at the hotel. It was a great night and a wonderful birthday.

Fun show. I've got some pics I will post later. Unfortunately, we were very close and on the left so Bermuda was obscured by the speaker stack. It's been a while since I've been to a show, so I don't know how long they've been doing it but I really enjoyed the "unplugged" segment. Confused me a lot when I heard the opening riff of "Layla". "Al didn't do a parody of Layla, did he?"
