Biloxi is just a short drive over from Gulfport! If anyone is in the area, I highly suggest going to the Blowfly Restaurant in Gulfport! Best banana pudding ever!

Hey, can anyone tell me if these shows are kid friendly from experience? I'm not really concerned with the band/show as much as I am the location. My daughter loves listening to the music, but my wife is worried about bringing a 6 year-old to a concert at a casino. Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

Its not like theres slots in the theatre. Once you go inside its a normal venue.

I appreciate that it's not a casino inside the theater. I should've been clearer in my concerns. I guess first, will there be a lot of other kids there? And second, are the adults there an easy going group or are they more of the casino group that's there to have fun without kids? Technically, I can bring my daughter down Bourbon Street on Mardi Gras night, but that's obviously not the crowd I want her to see. Will this be the typical Al group?

You will have some comped people, but it will mostly be a normal Al crowd. Ive never been in this particular casino, but other shows I have been to have plenty of children

I was hoping Rusty Shackleford would come back and post a review. I saw several men with young daughters on their shoulders, and they appeared to be having a blast. Maybe Rusty's was one of them.
This venue offered standing GA on the floor, seats in the balcony, and a REALLY excited crowd. There was a great deal of screaming every time someone walked across the stage before the show even started. We saw a lot of foil hats and two women dressed like the girls in the Foil video, complete with silver dresses and blonde wigs. Lots of kids were in attendance, including a baby in a stroller, and more than a few of us older folks as well. As someone who prefers to stand at concerts (I have never understood why Al crowds aren't on their feet all night!) I really enjoyed the layout of this one. The floor was jammed. We moved to the back after a few songs, hoping to get a little breathing room, but there was little to be found. The balcony looked pretty full, too.
The show was brilliant!! Same setlist that has been mentioned elsewhere, but without WBUL due to the standing, tightly-packed crowd. I found it a little disconcerting to see Fat earlier in the show, but my sister (a first timer) didn't think it felt out of place. Her favorite song was Eat It, which I'm mentioning because it's a little different this time around (trying not to spoil it) and I wondered how that would come across to someone who really only knows the 80s hits. Apparently it's working for everyone. I loved it, too.
The new songs sound and look phenomenal, and they were all well received. An astounding number of young kids were singing along (good job, parents!) At the end of the show, a young man popped up next to me yelling, "YEAH! Bring him back next year! That was awesome!" I wholeheartedly agree.
