I'm definitely hoping for the whole thing; just one half or the other wouldn't be that interesting live. It's short enough that it shouldn't be a problem.

Although Al performing Foil live in its entirety is a possibility, I think there's a better chance that he might just perform the second verse in the medley. It might be easier to pull off in a live setting and (to me at least) Foil just lyrically "medley only" as far as lyrics might go.

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing him do it either way. I could see a full length Foil being the only parody in the no opening "no costumes" portion of the set. At this point, I think the only sure bets for full length parodies in the set are Tacky, Word Crimes and Handy.

I hope he does the full song. One of the funniest parts of the song is the transition from singing about keeping food fresh to singing about conspiracy theories. Singing just the second verse would be out of context.

If it is short enough, he COULD technically put the full thing in the medley, followed by Party in the CIA. I mean, he plays quite a bit of MFN/BH, so it wouldn't be a problem to do all of Foil.

Basically, the second verse is already out of context in the song itself, so it might work.

By the way, what a nice Gaussian distribution of votes :)

This probably won't happen again, but I loved the multi-night stands Al used to do at the Orange County Fair. It was worth it for people to travel for the multiple show nights and it was soooo much fun all around. The Pacific Ampitheater is a pretty nice venue but at most he'll maybe do two nights there. The longer stands made for some really fun get-togethers from all over the world.

There are several times in a tour where Al will have a few shows centralized. Shows during a week that are close enough to chase could give that same vibe.
