World of Weird Al Yankovic

I am selling one ticket to the "Weird Al" Yankovic concert tomorrow, June 6th, at Foxwoods Resort Casino in CT. Show time is at 4:00pm.
I'm only charging $68, which is the actual price I paid for the ticket and online service fee.
Anyone interested in buying 1 ticket to the 4pm show?

Hello, everyone. I'll be attending the 8 PM show. If anyone is interested in an impromptu meet up I'd be down to say hello and mingle. Gotta share in the pre-show hype.

I haven't received an email yet. Would someone who received their's mind sharing the info they were sent?

Nothing here yet either, good thing I live locally and don't have anything else to do tomorrow...

My point was that nobody is going to pay that price if meeting Al was not part of the deal. The money your paying is for the show in the first five rows and a meet with Al. I don't think if you were going to two meets in one day that you would care that much about missing one pre-show party. They will probably be the exact same sure, I was just saying that if I had bought tickets to two shows that day, I would go to both shows and just not attend the second pre-party. I'm willing to bet in this case that the venue will become aware people were planning on going to both and will just give you your second shirt and package after the second show or whatever. Anyways, as judgmental as that may be or seem, it's only my opinion. No way I would let one pre-show party be a reason to miss a Weird Al concert that would be going on at the same time. Like I said, I bet the venue would make it right. If not, get your money back or start a RIOT!! Joking obviously, but for that price I would.

As far as I know, the folks on this forum who had tickets to both shows only had VIP for the second show. If they skip the pre-show party, as you suggested, they wouldn't attend any pre-show party at all.
I did not buy the Czar VIP package, but if I did, I would want to get everything I paid for, including the pre-show party.

This exactly. I think Yankomaniac is confused and believes that people have VIP for both shows, which isn't the case.

I just got my confirmation email, check in for the 8PM VIP is at 5PM, sorry for those of you in the 4PM show, sounds like that will be a problem.

I just got my email too. I guess I'll go enjoy as much of the concert I can for the 4PM show and then go to the pre-party around 6. That's not too bad. I wish I knew exactly what the pre-party consisted of so I could plan accordingly. If it's just standing around talking after getting the merchandise, I can go a little later.

PARKING INFORMATION
Enter through the Grand Pequot entrance and park in the Grand Pequot Garages or use the Valet. After parking, enter the casino through the Grand Pequot entrance and take the elevator to the casino level. The Grand Ballroom is located just outside of that area.

VIP CHECK-IN
VIP check-in will be located directly right outside of the Grand Ballroom. Check-in time begins at 5PM. Here you will receive your tickets, complete set of "Weird Al" trading cards and exclusive "Weird Al" merchandise gift.

VIP PARTY
After checking in you will make your way downstairs to the pre-show party at the Mandatory Lounge which will be held in the Grand Ballroom. The party will begin at 5PM.

MEET AND GREET
You will have the opportunity to meet "Weird Al' Yankovic! Specific instructions will be given to you upon check-in. The meet and greet will take place after the concert. You will receive your Personally Autographed Limited Edition Mandatory World Tour Poster during the meet and greet.

COSTUME CONTEST
There will be a costume contest, so we encourage you to dress up in your best tacky outfit, Jedi robe, foil hat, and/or Hawaiian shirt to honor our great and fearless leader. The best in show will be rewarded greatly!
