International Member Of The Year - While most of this forum happens to be an American crowd, it's hard to forget its international roots. After all, the forum was founded by WHiZZi, a Dutch native. International Weird Al fans have a unique perspective on Al's work as they have the opportunity to see his reflections on American popular culture from outside. Often times, they are able to scoop us Americans thanks to their local connections. Other times, they just have funny accents. The members of this forum truly represent every corner of this world. From Canada to Argentina, from Russia to the United Kingdom, from the Netherlands to Australia, we have a wide variety of countries represented on this forum, and this category represents that worldwide community that diversifies this forum.

Funniest Member Of The Year - As all of us here are Weird Al fans, it can be a difficult balancing act to be funny without going overboard trying to get laughs. Not to mention that all of us seem to have a slightly different sense of humor, meaning at least 50% of all humorous comments made go over at least 75% of people's heads. Even with these circumstances working against us, I still seem to find plenty of emoticons sprinkled around the board, meaning someone must be doing something right. This award goes to the funniest member of the forum.

Technically there's a one nomination per person restriction but given the level of participation, I'm open to removing that limitation within reason (and your above post is just about at the point of "within reason"). So long as the "second" system stays in place it should be enough to keep the number of nominees to be reasonable.
