This topic is for those of you who would like to brag and/or remind people of your existence and let them know who/what they should vote for and why.

actually I would like it very much if people would make posts that indicate their board "accomplishments." If we're going back to 2009(!) there is a lot of ground to cover potentially. there were years where I probably visited the board only a few times. if people have spent time editing or photoshopping an avatar let me see it.

Best Avatar (already nominated) - I think I've had the same one since at least 2009.

Best Signature - I've had 2 that I remember as noteworthy.
"I don't quack" - It's an Al reference though it's more of an inside joke maybe a handful of people on here know about.
"我没有穿内裤" - The Mandarin Chinese text from the MF booklet. Translates to "I'm not wearing underpants."

Outstanding Achievement in Spoiler Avoidance - not eligible

In the same vein, if you have already nominated your one pick for a category yesterday, you cannot nominate another one today.

Why is this a rule? I think it would discourage people from nominating people as they would hold out in case a "better" category came up the next day. For example I probably wouldn't have nominated for best avatar yesterday if I had known this rule yesterday. I feel my nomination deserves it, but I would be afraid I'd miss out on today's category. I have a nomination, but I guess I'll keep it to myself (sorry anth! )

I also suggest you keep categories open longer than 1 day, as not everyone gets here every day. It's fine to introduce a new category every day, but keep them open for at least 3 days at a time. And get rid of the ridiculous you can't vote the next day rule.
