Based on the list of categories from 2010, I think the only one to truly get rid of is Forum Saboteur Award. We should celebrate the fact that the previous winner has been permanently banned by not thinking of any of the members in that way anymore. 
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

-two separate categories for best smiley: one that is for gifs and one for still ones that don't flash/move.
-since it's been 4 years since the last one people should be awarded gold, silver and bronze metals to display on their profile or something.
-people who win something get a VIP pass to a future Weird Al concert.
-people need to go around the forum and start liking posts. Lately I only read posts that have at least one like and it seems like it's 10 or less people doing all the liking,
-Event of the Year is obviously my fake Mandatory Fun leak and so this category is pointless, get rid of it.
-we need a separate thread for bragging, etc., so I know who (or who not) to vote for.
-Bruce the Duck is not eligible even for nominations of any kind.
-mother smurf tha police.

One category from the 2010 awards that should return would be "Outstanding Achevement In Fan Artistry" given the recent mass influx of fan artwork in recent weeks.
