I'm not trolling, Bruce. We just disagree on what the relevant question is. I think Handy, Word Crimes, and Tacky are the three most likely to be played live. Although, I would prefer if Foil were played live. It reminds me of A Complicated Song or TMZ where it'd be a good parody to do early on in the set before the costume changes. If there is a new "single" between now and when the tour starts, I honestly don't know which of those would be bumped. Ultimately it ties back into the 'which song will be the hit' question; it depends on which songs chart best, which videos take off, etc. Who would have predicted in 2003 that eBay would still be played live in 2012?

Safest bet would be:

Parodies in full
Tacky
Handy
Word Crimes

Parodies in medley
Foil
Inactive

Originals in set
Lame Claim to Fame
My Own Eyes
First World Problems

Originals not played
Sports Song
Mission Statement
Jackson Park Express

And of course, the polka. Is 7 songs in full, plus a couple in the medley the standard for a tour supporting an album?

Yep. And your picks are exactly the same as mine, which means you're probably right! :D

That's the same list I would have come up with. Even though I would much prefer to see Mission Statement live over any of the others!

I think it'd be hard for Al to do a live three-part harmony by himself. :D

True, but there are ways around it. You could have the band play the song, live, with pre-recorded backing-vocals that're synched in time with the band as they play. There's the cheap way, with vocal harmonizers, or if Al really wanted an authentic CSNY feel, he could easily have Bermuda, Jim and Steve sing along with him throughout the song.

Personally, I can honestly see the latter happening, since Al's band is known to sing along with Al in some of his songs.

I really hope they find a way to perform Mission Statement live with no backing tracks, kinda like they did for WDTAHTM

The song's great, but without any jokes, I don't know how it would play to the masses.

What do you mean no jokes? It would function just like Craigslist in the set, where the humor would be derived from Al's CSNY impression. This would be a really fun one live!! Though I do concede it would be really hard to pull off.

It's absolutely nothing like Craigslist.
