I would say listen to the album Doolittle and you'll hear pretty much all of the influence. In addition to the ones Marc mentioned, I hear similarities to Here Comes Your Man, Into The White, and Gouge Away.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

For some reason, I had to purchase this video on iTunes to be able to watch it. Definitely worth the $1.99! There are too many great gags in this one to list.

I watched it on the website, definitely enjoyable. Can't find the official on youtube yet, all the other ones seem to be there so far.
