Handy and Tacky - which will be which?
A small handful seem to be convinced that Iggy will be "track 11" instead of "track 1. Which do you think? Will there be any type of consensus?

You need to add a choice: Not sure either way.

I am positive that Handy = Fancy and Tacky = Happy, due to reasons.

Okay, I went with not sure. The norm would indicate the first choice. But there are plenty of clues leading to the second choice. But the only correct answer is "I'm not sure."

I mentioned this before, but I'm finding it hard to believe that Al would go all the way to Colorado for a "track 11" song.

Specifically going off of A) Al's tendency to record the opening track last (notice how I didn't say "lead parody", but semantics), and B) the fact that the pairings of "Handy"/"Fancy" and "Tacky"/"Happy" are more phonetically consistent, I'm going to speculate that "Handy" is the Iggy parody.

This is the strongest reason that it would be that way, and you may be right.Moneybags wrote: B) the fact that the pairings of "Handy"/"Fancy" and "Tacky"/"Happy" are more phonetically consistent, I'm going to speculate that "Handy" is the Iggy parody.

I wouldn't say that anyone is "convinced" (unless I've missed something; and you guys are making it hard to keep up today!) just that there are reasons to think it could be the other way around. Moneybags' point about phonetics is pretty reasonable. Ultimately, I went with not sure, because I'm just not.

Exactly right. I'm not at all convinced that "Handy" is "Happy". In fact, I lean back and forth with every new reason someone gives for one option or another. People have a tendency to assume confidence from simple speculation.Skippy wrote:I wouldn't say that anyone is "convinced" (unless I've missed something; and you guys are making it hard to keep up today!) just that there are reasons to think it could be the other way around.
