It really doesn't make sense in the context of the sentence to be possessive, so it seems like a word crime slipped into the video.

It's not necessarily wrong. Apparently it was pretty common and taught in schools back in the '70s and earlier, and though it's less common now and many dictionary style guides advise no apostrophes, I don't know if you could call it wrong.

It's much like how split infinitives aren't actually grammatically wrong, either.

does this count as a word crime? the word efficient is technically spelled wrong because of i before e except after c clause.
