wait...what??? Back in the top 100!!! Wonder if it was the Seth Meyers appearance that bumped it up. That means a total of 10 weeks in the top 100!!!Yankovic-Gretzky wrote:Mandatory Fun - Tracking Positions on the Billboard 200 - # - 1, 3, 14, 18, 34, 31, 52, 63, 97, 129, 85...

Re: Mandatory Fun Chart Watch
Definitely wasn't Seth Meyers since that just happened two days ago and that number is for last week. I'm positive it was the iTunes deep discount sale.

Last week Seth Myers said Al would be on the show and tens of people rushed to buy the album.

I'm glad Robin Thicke's album tanked and I'm even more glad that Weird Al crushed it! The video releases were a brilliant idea.TMBJon wrote:Looking over the other new releases on July 15, I'm not really seeing any major competition:

Morrissey and Rise Against will probably sell some records; I haven't really heard of most of the rest of them.
And in the weeks leading up, nothing much either. I see that Robin Thicke has an album out July 1. Ed Sheeran and Phish both have albums out next week. Other than that... nothing?
