Saw an article today speculating on Al's parodies on Vulture.com. The author doesn't understand that half of the songs will be originals, and in her speculation she guessed that "Jackson Park Express" might actually be a parody of "Marrakesh Express" by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Obviously, it won't be a parody, and "Marrakesh Express" is actually quite short, but since Marko deduced that CSNY might be a likely target on this album, might this song be at least PART of the inspiration for JPE?

Spoiler:
So much for thinking that there wouldn't be a twisted love song on this album.

I know!!! I was slightly disappointed when "My Own Eyes" wasn't a love song. But when I got to this, I was so pleasantly surprised!

I loved this song! The literal interpretations of things in the lyrics reminded me a lot of Emo Phillips. I don't often laugh out loud, but this song had SEVERAL moments for me!

"I like your boobs!"

This is, IMO, the best song on the album by far, and probably a top ten Al song. I've always been a sucker for
Spoiler:
both his love songs and his epic songs, and combining them both is an instant winner for me. I had absolutely no LOL moments on the album until the "when you're nauseous" line.

And to think for a bit some thought THIS would have been the song he'd do at the Super Bowl if chosen. :P God, this is Al at his best.
