So if I understand you correctly, you wouldn't find a live performance of Handy to be very entertaining at all?Bruce the Duck wrote:My guess is that he would already have had that decided. I really think "Lame Claim to Fame" would appeal to Conan's audience a lot more than "Handy." Plus, his voice is so auto-tuned in "Handy," that a live performance wouldn't be very entertaining at all. I'd be disappointed with a "Handy" performance honestly. That would be great! Conan could take on Patton's role in the second verse...Bruce the Duck wrote: There is a possibility that he could do a performance of "Foil." It would be easily enough to replicate the basic premise of the video in a live performance on Conan.

Right! Conan has a great WTF? face, as evidenced by his last appearance on Conan.

I liked it! It was Tim and Eric-esque. Does anybody know who was responsible for the special effects/animation? Was it Al?

Re: Handy
The animation and VFX were done by Cris Shapan, the artist who did "Whatever You Like." He has worked with Tim & Eric before on a few projects.eleventhirtyfour wrote:I liked it! It was Tim and Eric-esque. Does anybody know who was responsible for the special effects/animation? Was it Al?

I enjoyed the Tim and Eric-ness of it. I work at Tim and Eric for Shrim-sake!
Felt a little dirty though. Even though Shapan was involved, still kinda rip-offy

Re: Handy
Al most likely directed what he wanted in the video, but I'm sure he had someone else do the actual animation/effects. I don't know that Al has any actual animation expertise.eleventhirtyfour wrote:I liked it! It was Tim and Eric-esque. Does anybody know who was responsible for the special effects/animation?
