Attending this show. Another beautiful venue that I'm glad Al is back at. If anyone is attending this show, from the area, be sure to listen to your local radio stations. This was one of the most highly radio broadcasted concerts I remember going to during the last tour. They have a lot of activities going on before the show, which creates a great atmosphere.
It's just a good outside venue, for what it is. Has two video screens on each side of the stage. Great seating, anywhere, you are situated. And pretty friendly security...

I am planning on going to this show, as it is the only one booked in New England so far.
I agree with Alinite27; Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion in NH is a GREAT place to see a concert. It is a covered outdoor venue. There are various activities and food vendors surrounding the covered pavilion, and there is usually another musician performing in a nearby tent before the show. All of the seats have a great view, the security and staff are friendly, and the 2 video screens make it easy for even those way in back to see Al up close. Plus, it is located in a beautiful area of NH, so you can spend the day before and/or the day after the concert enjoying the nearby mountains, lake, and other area attractions.

On top of all these great aspects... the venue clearly has great respect for Al. Not too many venues that Al has played at multiple times have I seen the words "weird al RETURNS" in big bold letters on a sign.

That sounds like a big accomplishment and all, but it is New Hampshire.

I emailed this venue to ask when the tickets would be going on sale. The box office manager told me they are looking at next week; they are just waiting for approval from Al's management.
Dingo- you WILL be going to this concert....RIGHT?!!

I don't see this anywhere on the mothership...at least not in the obvious places like the home page, tour page, and news page. Someone mentioned this on Facebook last night, and I couldn't find it anywhere.FredHuggins wrote:According to the mothership, pre-sale begins TOMORROW MORNING (March 9) at 10AM ET!!!

Where did you find this information?
EDIT: Okay, the problem was the browser I was using. I always use Firefox, and the presale info is not showing up at all! It still says "Presale Info TBA" next to all of the dates.
I just tried Internet Explorer, and now I can see the presale information.

Re: 6/26/10 Gilford, NH Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion
I took a look at the presale this morning, and I was disappointed to find out that we cannot choose our own seats.
The tickets are guaranteed to be in the first 15 rows of sections A, B, or C. If they are in sections A or C, they will be on the inside half of the section.
I like to know exactly where I'm sitting, so I think I'm going to wait until the tickets go on sale at the venue so that I can hand pick them. I also like that the venue mails out the tickets right away....I don't like waiting 3 months to get my tickets!
EDIT: I caved and bought tickets from the presale anyway. Now I have the next 3 months to wonder whether or not I made the right decision.
I know Artist Arena had a lot of issues, but at least you knew exactly which seats you were buying from them (except for that problem with the OC Fair tickets this year).
Did anyone else get tickets for this show yet?
