I'm unutterably thrilled. Del Mar is CLOSE. And I could stop by Sea World and see the Haunted Lighthouse movie on the same excursion.
Here's something to occupy the trivia hounds among us (and we know who we are): let's keep track of how many of the artists Al has parodied wind up touring to the same venues he's visiting this summer.
For example, James Brown will be performing at the San Diego Fair on June 25 (by which time Al will be deep into the Midwest... but think of what a double bill that could have been! )
Good idea on the trivia thing OE. Are you going to go see James Brown?
I feel good!! :choon:
Well, I could, but wouldn't it be a little awkward if I'm sitting there surrounded by James Brown fans and bust up laughing when he sings "Living In America"? :lookround:
You know....ever since this new tour has been announced, not once (I don't believe) has it been mentioned if any of the concerts will see the return of a certain Experience.
Seeing how tis concert starts in june, then that means the album will probably come out a little before then. anyways South Woodstock,CT and the Woodstock Fair is just 30 minutes away from me so i'll at least be going to one concert this tour. Hopefully i'll get good seats.
It's a Weird Al concert, not a Coolio concert. All the seats will be good.
Anybody who has difficulty distinguishing Weird Al concerts from Coolio concerts is getting a break this summer. According to Pollstar, Coolio's not on tour. That will really make it so much easier to tell them apart, even if it does mean we'll have to wait a little longer to hear all those great Coolio comedy hits.
