That does seem to be a confirmed Radio Radio.

(By the way someone on Reddit just told me to "ask WeirdAlForum.com, they know EVERYTHING!!" )

Edit: I found more footage that confirms it. They're dressed for Perform This Way, the opening to Dare To Be Stupid starts playing, the band joins in to Al's (and their own) confusion, they stop and Al calls Radio Radio.

This is my favorite video. They were just going to keep going with DTBS in the PTW outfits. Bermuda just went for it, and Al looked mildly confused.

And the aftermath..

I am a newbie who joined this forum because I was at the Greensboro show and found this thread because I was curious how often this happened!

So, I did not film it, but I can confirm it happened. What happened was they finished "Now That's What I Call Polka!" and then played a video montage during the costume change (the Celine Dion interview one) and as the video ended, the lead-in for "Dare to Be Stupid" started playing, but they were all on stage with their Gaga costumes on. So Al and the band are all standing there looking at each other, confused. Eventually someone realized what was going on and killed the backing video and sound. So they launched into Radio Radio, played it, then went off to the side of the stage to re-group. Meanwhile, as they are standing on the side of the stage, someone starts playing the backing music for "Perform this Way" while the band is still on the side of the stage in a huddle. When his cue comes up, Al starts signing the first few lines of "Perform this Way" until the person running the sound realizes the band isn't on stage anymore and kills that music. Al says "I'm sorry, I have no idea what's going on" or something very similar from the side of the stage where he's still huddling with the band. A few moments later they all come back on stage and launch into "Perform this Way." After that was done, they left the stage, shows us the Celine Dion interview again as they were changing, then launched into "Dare to be Stupid." So, it doesn't seem like any songs were skipped and we just got a bonus of "Radio Radio."

Thank you to everyone else on this thread for providing the history of the use of "Radio Radio." It was really neat to hear it and it's nice to know why I got to hear it!

Thank you for telling us the story of this show! Sounds like there was some major miscommunication happening somewhere.

And :welcome: Welcome to the forums, duranie!

Ohhhhmygosh, that's amazing. Radio Radio in squid outfit and ice cream hat is my favorite. (Also I only JUST now realized he's wearing a choker as part of that costume)

I love that Bermuda just goes for it!!! Looks like Al and everyone else was about to just go for it as well until the music stopped. DTBS in PTW costumes would have been so great!! :gaga:

I like when Al just goes like :o to the audience

Great story!! Love that there's footage to prove it! #2016 :good:
