I forgot that we had a central topic for this.

I've definitely been enjoying the blogging you've been doing leading up to #100!

In reviewing my pics from the most recent shows I attended, I've been moderately happy with some of the shots I've gotten, but I've had ongoing issues with darkness in the shots that I knew was due to not having my settings quite right, but as much as I fussed with the f-stop and shutter speed settings, I couldn't quite hit on the sweet spot I had found during the Alpocalypse shows. I was partially blaming the different lighting on some of the songs this year (I swear a lot of the show is more dimly lit than it used to be), and the fact that I have been sitting a little farther away than usual (*shakes fist at VIP/Czar seating scheme*)...

However, I'm now banging my head on my desk as I just now realized that the one setting I hadn't checked was the ISO, which at some point flipped from the custom setting I had to AUTO. My camera became self-aware and decided that it knows better about what ISO setting it should use than I do. It doesn't. It's such an obvious thing and I'm not sure why I didn't check it until now.

So of course I realize this when I'm not seeing any more shows this year. Oh well. I still got some good stuff that I'm still in the process of uploading.

I've been unemployed all summer, and suddenly I have had time to go through the giant mess that was my photo app and break things into albums. Today, I'm uploading crap so that people can SEE them.

Man, that seemed like so long ago. I love the pictures of Ruben prior to "Radio Radio", because Steve had already done a bass solo, and they usually never go any further than that, so when Al said "Keyboard solo", Ruben was shaking his head and mouthing "No". The fast click/hi hat YMM track that was malfunctioning started playing, and Ruben acted like he was controlling it, so when it stopped, he got a huge round of applause. I probably would have forgotten if it weren't for these pictures...
